Well, it’s not strictly a real lightsaber but its pretty much the closest thing that you can get…

Mobile phone photography has really taken off in recent years with the advances in smartphone camera technology - very high resolution that rivals digital cameras, and fairly decent lenses. Of course, a picture taken on a mobile phone rarely rivals that taken on a proper stills camera (especially high end D-SLR’s), but the immediacy of having your phone with you and the ease at which you can then edit and share those photos has helped its popularity explode. Here’s our rundown of some of the best Android photo-taking and editing apps...

How many Gadgets an average Student uses a day

A typical Gadget a Student would use

For most students, they would only think to list a small handful of gadgets that they use everyday, but because mostly everything is technology-based they are in fact using a lot more gadgets than supposedly thought.

Typically, a student will wake in the morning and prepare themselves for the day. Getting ready alone will depict how many gadgets are actually going to be used throughout their day, as many will use Hair Dryers, Electric Shavers, Hair Straighteners or Tongs and Electric Toothbrushes in the morning. Once they have got themselves ready, they will pack a bag, which for a few will not only include books, but also be a Calculator in there too. Already, a majority of them have already used at least two or three gadgets since they have woke up.

Just before they leave, if they do not live locally and have to commute, then most will take iPod's or MP3 players for the journey, which will of course have Headphones too. And once they get to School, College or University, this is where even more gadgets will be used throughout the day and because technology is so widely used, half of these people wouldn't think twice about using them.

For most, the majority of their chosen subjects will involve using a Computer, this could involve printing off Coursework, which would mean they would need a printer. For most Schools, Colleges and Universities, they will use an Electronic Payment System, which of course is a gadget within itself. Many doors within the premises could be coded or need a special identity card to get in and this will also class as another gadget.

Once they have travelled back home, if they do not go out, then most are more than likely to sit at their Computers/Laptops and either talk online to their friends or use it to complete their Coursework. For some they could even be with friends which could lead to taking pictures, or even taking pictures of themselves to upload onto Facebook. By this point, at least over half of these students have probably used around five of the gadgets stated.

The most important gadget of all, and certain that 99.9% of students have is a Mobile Phone. Throughout their day, this would have been used constantly. To text or call a friend outside of School, College or University, a friend in another class, or even someone sitting right next to them. This is the ultimate gadget that a student will use the most throughout their day and surely through the whole of their teenage years.
