Apple unleashed the iPhone 5 onto a salivating public last night and the anticipation has been huge. It turns out that the series of leaks about its specifications and capabilities over the last few weeks has been largely correct, so there wasn’t much to surprise, but did Apple do enough to persuade the masses to upgrade to the new model - or was it a rather disappointing update?

Sony’s already got something of a proven track record when it comes to 3D displays, and this week at the massive gadget show IFA in Berlin, they quietly updated their HMZ model 3D glasses which are now imaginatively called the HMZ-T2. Boasting superior specs and a more comfortable design than the old model, they’re a practical way to watch 3D movies and games...of course, you might look like Robocop, but that could be a selling point for the geeks amongst us!

If done correctly you can make an old computer run just as well as a modern one, but of course there are risks. But if your going to get rid of them anyway, whats the problem?

Re-makes of all forms of media take place as producers see profit in a re-release of their materials. However, it seems near impossible for producers to re-make their materials without changing them first. Considering what oldies like myself are into (the old one line corny punch lines in films "Consider that a divorce") are re-makes making the material better or worse?
